Here’s how students can earn school credit through our high school language programs!
Our high school language classes are great for any student who wants to dive right in and make the most of an after-school language learning program. We offer these high school classes in more than 20 foreign languages, including Spanish, French, German, Korean, and Chinese, and they are taught by native speaking language teachers. Students get to learn the target language in an intimate, hands-on, culturally immersive environment during these after-school, one-hour language lessons, which are held twice per week throughout the school year.
As the Top Rated Local® language school in El Paso, La Paz Language Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which is an accreditation division of AdvancED. At La Paz Language Academy, we are also pleased to offer summer programs for high school students who want to earn credit outside of the regular school year. Whether you’re interested in learning Spanish for the first time, want to get ahead in your current language learning curriculum, or need to retake a Spanish language class during the summer, this language summer camp is for you. Together, we’ll dive into the Spanish language, learning everything from basic words and phrases to Spanish grammar, tenses, and sentence structure.
Our Spanish Intensive Summer Program is offered for middle school and high school students in Spanish levels one through five. During this crash-course, students will study Spanish according to a compressed curriculum that spans just four weeks, with two weeks of Spanish classes equating to a semester of a language course at their school. These Spanish lessons are intense, fast-paced, and intimate, with a maximum class size of 10 kids that are taught by a native language teacher.
This summer program is a great way for students to learn Spanish fast, with classes broken down into two two-week sessions: part A and part B (60 hours of class time total). Each session costs $500, and the full two sessions have an enrollment fee of $1,000. During the program, three-hour Spanish classes are taken every weekday, with morning classes from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and afternoon classes from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Here are the dates for our 2019 Spanish Intensive Summer Program:
